I received the bag yesterday and I am very happy! Appearance is ten out of ten and it holds everything I need for a day at work or on a flight. I’ve seen a lot of people worry about the bag holding their computer, but it wasn’t a problem for me! I bought the larger size of the bag and have a Macbook Pro 13-inch and an iPad Pro 11-inch. Both of these fit well in the computer compartment. The Mac can also be in its protection folder. I can also fit an Apple blue-tooth keyboard in the computer compartment. The only thing I’m not entirely happy with is the pocket that should hold a bottle. it is too small for the standard size of a bottle in my country, but I just use the pocket to keep my reading glasses in place instead. But I am very happy with this bag! I will be using it for a long time!!

This bag is nice. Only disappointing thing is for me is the laptop compartment, it’s not suitable for a large or 13” laptop. A small one fits okay. Also will recommend a thin water proof cover or flap just to protect it from any water bottle leakage.

I recently took this bag as my personal item for transcontinental and intercontinental through NA and Europe. The bag is very attractive but actually for airline and train travel it is not very well laid out. I wish the outside pockets were more accessible – so hard to have to lift a stiff flap for the inner front pocket to get boarding pass and passport or train tickets or cell phone. The pocket in the back – which I understand is hidden to prevent pick pocketing – is under the luggage strap and very difficult to access on the fly. I have lots of suggestions on how the layout can be improved. I guess if you use it as a purse it works but even the 13″ one (which is the one I have) is really too big and bulky to carry comfortably as one. I am somewhat disappointed with this bag and have reverted to carrying my old tote bag for travel.

It’s a really nice bag, but I bought it primarily for commuting days when I need my laptop – and unfortunately the laptop compartment isn’t suitable. I was assuming it would be like other Nordace compartments that are self-contained with their own zip. Instead, it’s literally a thin bit of padded material, open at the top, creating a sort of side pocket separating your computer from everything else in your bag. The top of your laptop will protrude out the top of this and be in contact with other things in the bag – including, potentially, a water bottle that might have condensation or leakage. This would be just about acceptable if the slot were roomy enough to allow you to use a neoprene or other thin protective sheathe/slipcover on the laptop, but even these extra few millimetres are too much and while I could just about cram my covered 13″ MacBook into it, I wasn’t able to close the zips over top. I bought the 13″ bag version but I’m not convinced even the larger 15″ bag would be suitable for a 13″ laptop with a slipcover. So I’m regretfully returning this, and the search for the perfect commuter duffel continues…

I am so pleased with this purchase. The bag itself seems durable yet is still lightweight. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I can pack it for an overnight trip, or carry it around a city to have an easy way to carry any misc. items I might buy. It’s also perfect for my personal/carry-on during a long flight when I have checked luggage but want something to hold my in-flight items.

Just received my bag and I am impressed with the quality. I have yet to test it out but I am excited to. I purchased this bag for PA school, so I needed a bag that was big enough, but compact, and various slots to put my tools in. The laptop compartment is perfect, there is a convenient side pocket inside where you can put in your phone and water bottle. A big plus is that this bag is not too heavy. Honestly, the missing star is because I have yet to use it. Can’t wait to update once I have reviewed the item!

I like the updated design and feel of this bag. It is still very sturdy and easy to carry around. The zipper is also easier to pull through the fabric. Overall, I think this is an upgrade to my bag. trying out!
