Really disappointed in this product. Looking at reviews I had high expectations which the bag and price have not lived up to. 1. The first bag got lost in the post, as it of course can happen, but I kept getting a “it is normal for your tracking info not to show for a few weeks” response from customer service. To be fair on them they did afterwards dispatch a new bag without extra cost which was appreciated, but overall took more than a month. 2. The material of the bag is 100% not yielding (not even a little bit stretchy) and has a very cheap plastic plastic feel to it. 3. The bottle holders on the side are the same material and as mentioned in some other comments will only hold a very small/thin water bottle. Otherwise if your bag is quite full (which doesn’t take too much to get there considering it is a travel pack), you can only put a water bottle in at the expense of the inner capacity. In my case and due to the non-stretchy material this resulted in a popped zipper which now doesn’t allow to close the bag properly anymore after only my first airport trip. I am a frequent traveller whose had a lot of backpacks and have never seen anything like this before on a backpack. 3. The front pockets are nice and deep, however again the material is so tight that they are beginning to rip further and threads showing on the sides. I have not put anything more than a phone, small wallet and glasses case in them and have only had the bag for a month. Both pockets have ripped the same way. 4. The iPad compartment is too small(shallow) for a regular size iPad with a standard cover. 5. The pockets are noting special whatsoever and can be found in any regular backpack. 6. The power bank is either loosing power when not in use (I fully charged it and it lost power after 14 days without use). Or it doesn’t charge a larger device like an iPad. Overall I think the bag is not well designed and thought through, and is overpriced for the quality and finish of the product I received.

The backpack certainly has good quality and lots of thought put into it. A good fit for most, just not for me. The main inner space would benefit from a more rectangular shape with a flat floor and the storage compartments are not as usable for what I need them. Lastly, for the week that I used it, the wrinkles from the first shipping did not seem to get any better. Not sure if that disappears with time and mimics the photos better or if its just not as clean looking in real life.

Holy moly this backpack is perfect!!! I was expecting an adequate bag but the sizing of it, the size shape and placement of all the little pockets, build quality, it’s all brilliant!!! An incredibly well thought out bag!!!!!!!! Worth every cent and more!

I ordered the Nelson backpack and the Nordace Zesty Insulated bottle and I’ve been disappointed with the way this backpack is. This backpack keeps tipping over as it does not have a flat bottom–it keeps tilting forward even if I move the weight towards the back area of the bag. The top part of the bag is hard to get to without unzipping the whole bag and everything is a tight fit. Also the water bottle holders on the sides are virtually useless as it is way too tight and it does not have an elastic for flexibility and the inner lip should have a rubberized texture so the bottle does not fall out. I also bought the Zesty Water Bottle thinking it would fit well but the pocket is so tight that it barely fits and sticks out so it’s easy to fall out especially if you ride with this backpack on your bicycle or electric scooter. This water bottle pocket needs to be taller for bigger bottles as well. The cinch tie they provide with the pocket is also useless as it does not really hold the bottle tight. Really frustrating as I like the design of this backpack–but it ends up that this is more “form” than “function” so it needs to be improved. The fabric is nice and looks and feels durable. The zipper handles makes some noise as you walk as they are not rubber/plastic coated to prevent noise. This bag fits the new MacBook M1 Pro 16 inch (2022) but is also a tight fit. I was able to fit a portable full size Logitech keyboard in my older Penguin (Munsingwear) backpack but the keyboard does not fit inside this backpack. Again everything is such a tight fit inside this bag with my Laptop, a journal, a portable mouse, one paper-back book and a light jacket. I would look at other backpacks if you want a backpack that fits more items and that does not tip over every time you put it down on the floor. You will be constantly picking up this bag and cleaning it of dirt every time you pick it up.

I bought this for my daughter as a gift to help with her new job and thoughts of college needs. She absolutely loves this backpack stating that it’s got tons of storage pockets and that it’s the best backpack she’s ever used. I checked it over and liked it so much that I’m going to purchase one for myself for traveling!

Great, except for the water bottle holder. They’re too small to hold my Camelback water bottle. This will probably hold one of those small water bottles you buy when you buy a flat of water from Costco. A bit disappointed that these water bottle pockets are not bigger. Everything else is great. Love how it opens up really wide to get to the bottom of the bag. Lots of pockets to squirrel things away!

I’ve just started a new role within nursing, this has involved working between multiple basis. I needed a bag that could fit LOTS and LOTS of stuff in and could be carried in the best way to protect my back. I was really nervous about this investment but I didn’t need to be. I can fit a full A5 clipboard and note pad, A full A5 diary, large A5 envelopes stuffed with paperwork. My iPad. And then there is still a huge amount of room in the main compartment. There are so many pockets for my phone, pens, water bottle, umbrella, ppe I have gone from starting this role with three bags to now using one really easy to access bag. I underestimated the usefulness of how the bag opens, things are so easy to find. There is a lot of work envy between the other nurses and Doctors!!!! The bag is really well made. Well worth the money!!!!! Thank you Nordace!! And no I was not paid or given any products for this review. Highly recommend!!!!!!
