I’ve been traveling with this backpack for a year. The size and pockets is perfect for what I need to pack but it’s SO UNCOMFORTABLE to wear. Once you load it up with your travel essentials, it’s too heavy to wear without the sternum strap. And the sternum strap is only designed for men. I’m 5’4” female, fairly average sized, and I have to use the sternum strap at the very top of its track, and it’s still too low for my body. It pops off constantly under the weight of the bag. I hate it. Looking back at this page now, I am seeing it only advertised with males in the photos, yet the bag does not specify it’s only for men. So disappointed.

Could do with the credit card zipper section in the arm straps like the other backpacks. I also found the chest straps were useless as they detach too easily.

I love my Travel Laval bag. I travel 3 out of every 5 work days, and everything needs to move with me in my mobile office. I can carry my “office”, clothes and food all as subtle sturdy Carry-On, by just utilising all the pockets and sections. I always feel safe knowing my most valuable possessions are safe directly behind my back, in the the hidden pocket. I am very confident when I pack for the week that I am always presenting my most professional and stylish side to my client and when I am on the move in public.

Great bag with lots of space and pockets, sleeves. Only complaint is the fix for the sternum chest strap is not strong enough and as soon as there is weight in the bag, it comes off. I continued reattaching but ultimately one piece came off without me noticing (it wasn’t even closed at the time) so now I’ve got only one piece. The strap needs to have a much stronger connection to the shoulder straps. I now have to figure out another method to provide this support.

It’s a good bag and all but it was not clear at the time of purchase (or now, looking at the product page again) that you needed BYO power for the charger cord to work. I assumed that there was an inbuilt powerbank that could be charged and that this would be the power source. I can see now that this issue is covered on the website’s FAQ page, however this should have been made clear from the get-go. I would not have purchased the bag for this price if the charger wasn’t included.

Stylish, durable and very good quality. The fabric cleans easily and the capacity is great as i have managed to fit clothes for a week ( 3 trousers, 3 shirts, 3 v-neck tops, and a suit jacket in the main compartment – all folded) The only exception is the usb charging cable which streches but cannot roll back in (see pictures attache) and overall probably unnecessary. I am stuck with it hunging outside and i probably have to cut it off – if anyone from Nordace can contact and let me know how to put it back in it will be 4 out of 5 stars. For now it is 3 stars im afraid due to the usb cable seemingly design issue

Purchased this for airline travel. Great pack! Durable, and efficiently stores all I need. I have even used it as a carry on for a week long trip. I am giving it 4 stars because one of the chest clasps for the backpack feature fell off, at some point. I emailed Nordace’s customer support to purchase a new piece and never heard anything back. Poor customer service.

Excellent fits within most airlines personal item parameters 45 by 35 by 20 cm. Laval is 44 by 30 by 20. Beautiful and classy looking too.

I love it! Keeps all my stuff safe and organized. I got the packing cubes too which makes short trips easily manageable with only my backpack. I think the little knob on the side that stores the battery cable is little bit of an overkill and I think all of us can manager just fine without it.

A great product. I use it everyday and for travelling.
So practical. I’ve had it put in some very wet Scottish weather and everything stayed dry.

It’s a great backpack for travel but the construction of the big compartment makes grabbing items tricky. the big size should be towards the back of the bag and not the front. since it’s towards the front i have to constantly flip the bag completely over and zip the side before using the front compartment which is a little annoying. otherwise it’s a very spacious bag that i like to bring along with me. it isn’t super structured though and will look bulky if you have a bit of things.
