   I bought this backpack and it makes traveling so much more comfortable. Many of the pockets can be used independently, yet are not bulky. In addition, the hidden pocket on the back allows me to carry my wallet and passport in peace. And the belt that can be threaded through the suitcase to hide this pocket is exquisite. Also, while traveling, I often use my smartphone to look up maps and do research. Therefore, running out of charge is my biggest concern. With this backpack, I can put the battery in and take out the wires and use it while charging my smartphone. My friend likes it so much that she bought it and my daughter wants one too.

   I recently bought the Siena backpack in beige and have just taken it on it’s first trip. As per the product info, it is very roomy with lots of useful compartments, I love the key chain, secret compartment and sunglasses pouch in particular. I will need to be more organised in how I pack it next time though to ensure I remember where I put everything! My water bottle is 750ml and fits perfectly in the bottle pouch. I did hesitate on buying the beige as I’m quite a clumsy and accident prone person. I liked it the best though as it looks very smart. Of course, I got a huge black mark right across the front of the bag first time… However, it cleaned off no problem (I followed the guidance online) so am delighted with that. I would definitely recommend this backpack!

   I love this bag! I have been in search of a good quality rucksack to use a daily driver, since I have brought this bag I have never left anywhere without it. The quality of the material and build is outstanding. The attention to detail for practicality is second to none, very comfortable to where holds its shape very very well. Highly recommend.

   I have used mine for just over a month now and got it on special for $139 like the deal now. I’ve always intended it for daily use (not for travelling or hiking). I love the bag! It also arrived (to Australia) earlier than the estimated time and has no faults. I got the rain cover discounted but never needed to use it yet as when it is raining I have an umbrella and under the umbrella the bag is quite dry 🙂 What I love (almost everything!) – Very sturdy even when it is heavy and comfortable because of excellent soft shoulder strap – All the zippers runs very smoothly (noting that I never completely fill the bag up so it’s never at “stretch capacity” – The top handle is also robust even when the bag is heavy – It really does stand on its own (unless you only pile heavy things into the front two pockets) – The USB cable is strong inside and doesn’t really get caught with things inside the bag, and the pocket holding the charger is large enough for any external charger – Very spacious for everyday use and the compartments are awesome, especially the top clear compartment (for me). It really fits a lot….. – The bit to clip your keys in one of the front pocket is awesome – no longer need to dig my hand into the bottom of other bags where the keys usually fall to – There’s actually two separate front pockets (one on the right and one on the left) and in each of them there are still more little pocket compartments for little things like earphones, lens cloths, masks, usb wires. Very handy to know where everything is. – The separate laptop section is great (I do not bring laptops around but I do have A4 sleeve folders and clipboards to bring which I use in the laptop section) as it means I don’t have to worry about messing up all the other things in my bag when accessing the flat folders and can slip them back easily in the bag. – It looks very professional and I can use it for work as well as socially so no more changing bags around. – Even though I put the bag on the floor at work and while on public transport the black bits of the straps really doesn’t catch dust and remains very clean looking. What can improve – The side pocket for water bottle is way too small and can only fit a really skinny bottle despite the elastic. And even when it fits it is difficult to just stick the bottle back in the side pocket with one hand. This is not an issue for me as I always carry a fat 1L bottle INSIDE the bag anyway so now have used the side pocket for a small hand-sanitiser instead. I guess it is made that way for aesthetic purposes – Bag is slightly water resistant like they advertise and the inside doesn’t get wet if walking in sprinkling rain only for a short time but once it does get wet on the outside it takes quite a long time to fully become dry again (unlike say hiking gear) – While the zippers are good quality, when you stick your hand into the front pockets the zippers can scratch your hand a bit as they are quite rough (especially if you jam pack the bag and don’t have much space anymore) but that’s a minor inconvenience only! – Some other people have mentioned that the bag doesn’t lock as the zippers don’t allow you to put a lock on it – this doesn’t bother me as I am not using it to travel but I can see why it can be an issue if bringing it on a plane. Plus, I do like to be able to hang keyrings on zippers (which I cannot now!) I love the bag and really if I can choose again I’ll still buy it (maybe two, for when I feel like a change of colour!)

   I love the backpack great for travel my only issues are the zips rusted after a while and if there is anything in the back pocket you can feel it. The backpack would be greatly improved if the usb part was removable and the backpack was machine washable.

   This is by far the best bag I have ever owned. I purchased a Sienna 2 backpack for my daily travels for work. I carry a lot of stuff. So ridiculously comfortable and so many awesome little features that just put any other normal backpack to shame. The side pockets are a game changer. My favourite!!!! I’m already back on the website considering a second bag.

    Ordered my a month ago. Well it came a bit later than I anticipated. I kind of love this bag. Has space in every angle for you to organise yourself. Though I don’t know how to use the phone charger yet, but is money worth spending.

    Excellent bag that sits comfortably on your shoulders. I brought it on my trip recently and it could fit everything that I needed. However, I only give it 4 stars because the USB charging port doesn’t support quick charge from a power bank.

    So far I am very happy with this bag. The quality is nice and it has tons of pockets. It’s exactly what I was looking for in an everyday backpack. Taking one star off for the customer service. I wanted to make a change to my order but I did not get a reply until after my order was shipped. Returns and exchanges aren’t free either.

    Love this backpack! I carry around two lap tops for two jobs and tons of other things and my last backpack broke. I decided to try the smart backpack and I’m amazed that not only does it hold all my stuff, but it also redistributes the weight so that the backpack doesn’t pull so hard on my shoulders. The only thing missing is a side pocket on the side without the water bottle holder. It’d be nice to have an extra external pocket to tuck my phone in quickly when on the go.

    Finally, I got to travel again. The backpack was very comfortable to wear for a long period of time. I would be interested in the mini smart Siena backpack if it had the same shoulder straps as the regular smart Siena backpack to handle extra weight.

    I have this backpack now for 3 years and travel very regularly and it still look and holds great. I don’t agree with Lisa’s review that it is not suitable for air travel. If you only go for 1 or 2 nights, this is my go-to backpack. It can hold a change of cloths, my toiletries, documents, iPad and laptop and two phones. Sure it can get a bit tight but it does work. And it carries like a dream. Best backpack ever!

    I would give this backpack 5 stars for city or light travel use, like a quick road trip. Definitely not for travel on airplanes. I just had fitted two travel beauty cases of 8.5″ x 5.1″ x 3 and 11″ x 6.5″ by 3.4″ , and one travel documents pouch of another 6 x 10 inches and that is it. With these three items I cannot use any interior pockets and I have difficulty pushing them in as it is not deep and no room for stretching. I can use only the plastic pocket. I have fitted a 13″ macbook pro and an ipad into the computer pocket and with that I cannot use the external back pocket simply my iPhone 12 pro max does not fit in. Let’s say the pockets are not stretchable. The two outer pockets are useful but if you fill them up it takes away room from the interior compartment. Again the backpack is cute and seem well made and I am sure for city commute, school, or short trips would go perfect but definitely not much space for air travel at least for me. All of the internet hype, the videos and instagram ads…not that much space. There is another version and you might ask why not take the upgraded version which they say it is slightly bigger, well it seems to me that one has the main compartment pocket zipper which open fully up to the bottom while the siena 1 open only half the size of the backpack which is what I was specifically looking for.

    Pro: – I love that it’s lightweight and the front pockets have slots for small items. Cons: – If you put anything in the anti-theft pocket, you will feel it on your back because there’s no padding. – You can’t get anything out of the bag quickly. If you want to get something out of the pockets you need to take the entire bag off. There’s no convenient side pocket to quickly take your phone or wallet out. – The laptop sleeve goes all the way to the bottom so you need to be very careful when setting down your bag so your laptop doesn’t break. Overall thoughts: decent but wouldn’t purchase again, especially for the price.

    Loved it so much but its just broken. I purchased early 2020 and only used a couple of times due to the pandemic. I’ve been using regularly for work for 8 weeks and the structural piece under the grab handle on the top has broken. Its still usable but feels weak when picking up from this handle. Disappointed in short usage before it broke. They also sent me the wrong colour 2 years ago but I didn’t mind the colour they sent instead

    I’ve had my backpack since 2019 and used it pretty much every day since getting it. I love the amount of space it has and the separate laptop compartment. It has also held up very well in rain without it being “waterproof”. I wish it had a second side pocket for an umbrella since I put my water bottle in the existing pocket and I do feel it is a bit large for a female frame. I find the straps slide off my shoulders a lot and I wish there was a chest strap to secure it. Unfortunately after almost daily use, the front zipper compartment I use the most is now out of commission due the zipper snagging. I would have to replace the whole zipper on the front to fix it which is probably more money than the bag is worth now.

Today I have a pretty good collection of Nordace products and I am thrilled every time I go on a business trip or for a weekend. Spacious, laptop-friendly, nice looking. I will stay always with that.     i’ve used this bag for the entire school year and the endless compartments make it so easy to store everything. i can carry around 4 notebooks and folders, two makeup bags, my pencil case, two books, and my computer and ipad in the front pocket. there’s still a good amount of space left for other things. i really love the front side pockets with the fleece-lined smaller pockets for my airpods and chargers to keep everything contained. i literally always know where my stuff is. my only complaint is that my hydroflask doesn’t fit in the water bottle pocket, but there’s enough space to keep it in the main pocket. ive always had shoulder problems and the padded shoulder straps really take the weight off. the leather hasn’t been scratched yet and the handles seem pretty sturdy. some of the seams on the top strap have not even given for how heavy my bag is. i honestly really recommend this bag. its lightweight, fits almost anywhere, and is PRACTICAL!

    Love this bag but it does not hold up over time and a major desig. Flaw. This bag is sleek, stores a lot but neglects the necessary pad at the bottom for laptop. That’s right, you put it in and it falls to the bottom and lands on the hard surface below, repeatedly, no protection. Also, the Maine zipper broke and no longer closed, the tabs/pulls for the zippers ripped off. It last 2 years. Disappointing. I will try the newer version because it looks like it has more durable features, not many color choices. After that, moving on to a different brand.

    Amazing backpack, so many pockets and secret parts to fit all that is needed for daily use or travel. However, I am very DISAPPOINTED because I ordered 3 backpacks as a gift and only 2 arrived…!!! I would expect packing control would check to ensure all items have been packed and dispatched. I may revise my review after receiving the final backpack and actually making use of it…

    I love this backpack. I travel a lot for work and this fits everything I need for an entire week conference, and is the exact dimensions to fit under the seat on a plane. I love the padded back pocket for the laptop, and the front zips down the side mean that I can access things such as purse, phone, keys etc easily with the bag still on one shoulder. I’m surprised to see other reviews complaining about the bottle holder, mine hold my chilly’s bottle just fine. The only downside is that over the years, the handle at the top has started to tear the top fabric of the bag. I think this has been fixed in their other new backpack which is specifically designed for travel, since that handle is in a different place. But that bag comes at the cost of the lovely vertical zips at the front. But overall I really recommend this bag, its shape lets you fit so much stuff and its stylish. I get stopped in airports, supermarkets, dog walks and conferences by people asking about this bag. Despite the tearing issue at the top, I will still get another Nordace bag once this one eventually bites the dust. I have had it for 4-5 years now and its still going strong.

    GREAT DESIGN NOT ENOUGH SPACE I really liked this bag’s deisgn, but it just doesn’t give me enough space to look around for things even in the biggest pocket. Even though it has many compartments, there isn’t as much space as I expected. I changed it for a Jansport backpack (with more compartments) within 7 months. I used it for school and it just did not suffice because I don’t like to squeeze in things and have to take out other things to look for one thing. I took my laptop, iPad, pencil case, water bottle, (by the way tall/medium sized ones WILL NOT FIT) small container for lunch, notebooks, headphones, etc. The video made it seem like it would fit easily, but I looked like I was going camping for 5 days. I liked the pocket that touches the back to put my passport in.

    This is the perfect travel bag. It’s gone all over the world with me for both work and leisure. It fits everything from my laptop to sunglasses and anything else you might need. Light enough to be a daybag yet spacious enough for a weekend. I cleaned it easily with Castile soap and it looked as good as new. Cannot recommend this bag enough!

    Overall – Fine for business travel if you don’t need a lot of space. Fabric, zippers and handles are holding up well after a year of use. Additional padded straps are not worth the effort. I have had this bag for over a year and use it primarily for travel with business. I have another backpack that I use for personal trips when I need to take more things with me. – Fabric is nice and appears to be holding up well, but the gray color is not the same as it appears online. I do like it, but it is browner than the online images show. – Front pockets are nice for convenience on a plane, but the inside pocket organization needs some work. – Laptop/computer section is appropriately sized and padded. – Middle section is hard to pack because of the interior pocket locations. It does not hold a lot of ‘volume’ and is not very functional. – I have never been able to use the luggage strap because it is ‘tight’ and only works if the backpack is not fully packed. It would be nice if it had some elastic to make it useful. – Padded strap accessories (purchased as an extra) are nice, but don’t stay up high enough on the shoulder straps and have to be adjusted every time I put the backpack on. There is a place on the shoulder straps that they could attach if the velcro was smaller. I may have to cut them down because adjusting them is annoying.

    They sent me the wrong color! The backpack itself is alright. Couple things:
    -roomy middle compartment, but the pockets inside stretch/get in the way of putting large things without things catching
    -laptop sleeve/tablet sleeve is convenient
    -the front pockets are too narrow and the pockets in them are not really usable because things slip out when I move the backpack
    -it can look a little clunky
    -zippers are really smooth and nice
    -the secret pocket doesn’t really fit any thick wallets, but great for a passport
    -the luggage strap is nice

    I’ve had this backpack for over a year now and only recently started using it a lot more for travel and as a daily backpack. I don’t pack heavy things in it overall and love the USB charging port. It comes in clutch. The leather handle has started to crack along the edges and I wish it came with better straps. I’m reluctant to pack it fully anymore because the straps feel flimsy. They could use more cushioning for comfort.

    I bought a green Seina backpack a few months ago and I was very pleased, but then the top handle plastic (inside the bag) broke, and the fabric start to tear up. After I’ve reached the customer service, they sent me a new backpack in a few days and were very cooperative.
    I’m using the backpack daily for work (a teacher) and its serve me well, but sometimes its feels too small. It is very hard to put inside bigger objects (like small boxes) and somedays I need to carry an extra bag for my food.

    I bought the beige back pack and the packing cubes and wash bag. I have used it a couple of times now for weekend stays and I am impressed at how much you can pack away. One travel cube, wash bag, cosmetics bag and GHDs. It is very comfortable to carry and still remains clean. I haven’t used the charging cable as yet but I agree with another observation that the lead is rather long. That aside it is worth the money as it is a comfortable and robust back pack.

    I have had my Siena bag for about a week now and have to say I am absolutely thrilled! It’s made out of great materials, has a very sleek and aesthetic look, so many pockets, and the functionality and quality of this bag is exceptional. The Siena backpack truly ticks all the boxes and I would wholeheartedly recommend this product.

    I loved how this bag became my go to! It not only fit everything but kept all my items organized so I didn’t have to dig for anything as I made my way through my trip. Having more pockets than I could even use I was amazed with how much I could pack away in this bag. The straps were so comfortable no matter how packed the bag was and despite my getting the light beige color it stayed clean and if ever it did get dirty it was super easy to clean. I am completely obsessed with this bag and will recommend it to anyone! Can’t wait for my next trip so I can pack it and take it along with me!

    I really love my Nordace Sienna backpack and am impressed that it got replaced under the warranty when one of the zippers malfunctioned! Now I get to keep enjoying it… I get a lot of compliments about the clean look, I appreciate the many pockets, and the squared-off rather than tapered/rounded design at the top. It fits so much more that way!

    I love my Nordace backpack. I just returned from my first business trip using it. I love how I could fit in everything I needed on the plane, such as snacks, book to read, puzzle to work, laptop, and all the small items. I originally purchased two – one for my daughter-in-law. She loves hers too. She commutes with it daily.

    I also love how easy it was to place my backpack on top of my other carry-on luggage to maneuver through the airport and public transportation.

    I have two suggestions:
    #1 Make the handle part at top a little thicker and padded, for ease of use.
    #2 Use zippers that are a little bit smoother and easier to open & close.

    Very nice, though I cannot seem to get as much in it as is advertised. Haven’t used this yet for travel, but I have used it for University. Not great for lots of books but if you only have a few classes and are just carrying notebooks it should be fine. The laptop compartment is nice but I have discovered a MAJOR flaw with the design, If you have too much weight (I.E. more than 2 books) in the main compartment the weight of the bag causes the laptop compartment to open. I have had this happen several times with and without the laptop in my bag. Not sure if a flaw with the zipper or the compartment design, but it is a BIG issue. I have had to get a small clip to keep the compartment shut. Also, the material the bag is made of is water-resistant but the LARGE zippers are NOT. Got caught in unexpected rain and the inside of my bag got damp through the zippers. I also wish that the charging port’s cord had a dedicated pocket for a battery pack on the outside of the bag, the cord is just loose inside and I lose a pocket housing the battery pack and the overly long cord. Overall it’s an ok bag but I would not rebuy it in the future. Pros: Looks nice, has an acceptable number of pockets. Cons: Laptop compartment opens on its own, Zippers are not water-resistant, Not a lot of capacity if used for school, charging cord too long and cumbersome.
